What is DanScan? DanScan is an IP network scanning utility who's main objective is to search and audit individual subnets for Brocade SAN (Storage Area Network) Switch's and Director's (see DEMO). DanScan automates the acquisition of certain information from such devices in order to generate a comprehensive summary report of the Brocade SAN devices on a network. Such information includes:
Reports can be produced in two formats: Adobe .pdf or Word .doc. (See Sample .pdf Report Generated from a Scan) DanScan also allows the discovered Brocade Switch's and Director's to be managed using telnet and web access utilities built in to the tool.
